About.
I'm James Gault, a developer and AI power user. I build tools that live at the seam between language models and real workflows — agents, prompts, evals, the UIs that hold them together.

This portfolio is new. I'm documenting the start, not the end. No giant shipped-at-Stripe logos yet — just a point of view, a few projects, and a commitment to writing honestly about what I'm learning as I build.
My day-to-day is a close collaboration with LLMs: writing prompts the way I write code, versioning them, evaluating them, and pushing for tools that make the human-in-the-loop faster without making it lazier.
I care about craft. I care more about shipping. I try to hold both.
